Belle's Bloodhounds
I have heard many people say over the years "I have always wanted
a Bloodhound". Well I was one of those people 7 years ago. I said that exact same thing to my husband. Who responded by saying "You want a what"! After months of research on the breed and a few more months of looking for my perfect Bloodhound, I found Belle.
They are not an easy dog to find and even harder to find a good breeder. I recall the day we went to get Belle. She was the only surving puppy in the litter. My husband said "Well that is a face only a mother could love". and I did love her. Soon she had captured the heart of my husband and son. Belle taught me a lot about bloodhounds and still is to this today.
After my son started kindergarton I needed a puppy fix and tinkerbelle and red girl (my son's bloodhound) joined are family.
It wasn't long after that Belle's Bloodhounds had become a reality.
Many thanks to my brother and husband who made my dream a reality. One thing was for certain when I was traveling the country acquiring bloodhounds I was very sadden by seeing dogs in 5X5 kennels or even 10X10 kennels. Most of those came home with me!
That is one reason I do things the way I do. I feel every breeder has an obligation to treat their dogs just as well as the puppies they place in their new homes. You are welcome to come to our home anytime time and see the gang! They love visitors!
